Hello, We're The Clark's.

Welcome to our blog! We are so excited to finally have our blog up and ready to share our journey we live with our little homie who has an extra chromie! Londynn was born March 30th, 2017 at 5:10 a.m weighing 4 pounds 7 ounces! We have found the smallest things are the biggest blessings.

Londynn spent  2 1/2 weeks in the NICU at Lone Peak Hospital proving her physical stature was no comparison for her larger than life fighting spirit.  Londynn continues to prove to us each and every day  her fighting spirit continues to grow! During her journey in the hospital Londynn continually beat the odds of a "typical" T21 baby.  Through her fighting spirit Londynn showed us she wasn't going to let herself be put in a jar of what medical staff believed she should be doing as a T21 baby.  While the term usual was used often while receiving medical care Londynn has proven there is nothing usual about her!

My goal as a Londynn's mommy is to help educate individuals about children with disabilities in order to stop the stigma given to them without knowing their capabilities.  I want to help people truly understand that these special blessings are their own individuals with their own special talents and strengths.  By finding patience to truly understand children with disabilities we can learn to not define them by their disability yet by the gift of teaching they have to offer us.

My hopes with this blog is to be able to share our journey with you all. I will always be honest (I wear my heart on my sleeve).  The emotions will be raw yet this is our reality! I have found through our short journey so far it is easier for us to hide behind the truth.  Individuals may find the truth ugly at times because it is not what we always want to hear yet I believe the truth is what will help us through this journey.

Sometimes the road less traveled can be a little rocky and that curve ball can throw us off what we thought the "perfect life" was supposed to be.  We are far from perfect, we will make mistakes along the way yet the beautiful thing is we will continue to learn from these mistakes.  The mistakes allow us to feel human which is a beautiful thing. This means we are living, making progress and striving to follow the path God has chosen for us.

Londynn has not only brought a little extra chromosome into our lives she has brought a little extra love, strength, hope, and faith.  Logan and I are so grateful Londynn chose us to be her parents and God trusted us with one of his prefect Angels.

Welcome to our life of  " LIVING WITH A LITTLE EXTRA."
